This van is notorious for not starting if left to set for only a few days without an external battery mini-charger.
In looking into this, I find that there is a 1.8 amp draw on the battery with the ignition off and no auxiliaries running. This seems excessive to me and no wonder the battery is running down.

At the Hugo Chavez Citgo gas stations, as of last night, here's what we pay:

87 Octane: 3.07
89 Octane: 3.17
93 Octane: 3.27

At Exxon, BP, Shell and others, the price is only two cents higher.

With such low, low prices, I was able to fill a half-empty 96 Pontiac Formula at Shell with 93 octane for 24 bucks.

The 1964 Rockin Ranch Arrow did a wonderful job getting us to the sites the club had picked out. The journey was a little over 100 miles seeing the fall colors that currently abound in SW Oregon. It was a wonderful journey on the county paved back roads and I believe everyone had a great time.

The day was well spent seeing the countryside and being with other club members.
