What thread is in that hole, is it 1/4 npt, 1/8 npt, 3/8 npt, or some NPTF?

The plan would be to leave the original sensor in place and somehow branch off the output to the mechanical gauge, but I don't know what kind of oil pressure adapters I need.

I’ve done research on the internet and read all kinds of solutions. Today I found THE solution and it was inexpensive.

I purchased an AC Delco Voltage Regulator part number F662 and the problem is gone! The part was $32 and Summit Racing wanted $15 for shipping. Oh well. You can probably find one cheaper if you look around.

Basically, anything that was adjustable, like the tie rod end lengths and installing the control valve to the center link, I measured and copied the old set up.

everything fit great and I have my transmission adapter/new yoke ordered.
My peanut tranny is the same pattern as the 3 speed top loader. Does anyone know if there is special mounting bracketry that will allow me to use the same hurst shifter on this top loader? I would love to not spend the funds on a whole other shifter.

The car was working fine, I turned it off and the next time I tried to start the car it wouldn't start, the starter motor did turn.

According to the shop manual, it's two (orange in pic). When I bought the car, it had only one (appx 32") and still attached to the pump (see pic).

Oddly enough, the shop manual also lists one with similar length to mine (green in pic), but for a 6-cyl. Are some hoses interchangeable?

I want to buy new hoses but don't know what to buy. I'm thinking maybe I'll just clean up the pressure hose I already...
