I am a Norwegian guy that spends parts of the year in Texas , were I am restoring a old house from 1920. But I also shot a lot of pictures when I am there. Ron Payne has a lot of Ranchero's and he lives not far from me. Some pics.
A bunch of prospects there - have you mentioned the site to Ron? Hillbilly might have to do a road trip if he can talk the war department into it.
Nice stuff there and plenty, thanks for the pictures. I like that wagon in the background in the second picture.
No, I actually didn't know about this site, before today.. But he is going to move to another place in Tx , so I know he is really interested inn selling most of his cars, its too expensive too move all this cars. It would have been fun too met some of you guys I will be in tx from the 15 of February too the 29 of March.
Let's move them to Norway I'd like a 58 or 59 with the patina on them, ask Ron to set a price on the cars he will sell and somebody here might be interested me included !!!! The 72 under the cover looks very nice, any more pics would be nice and what engine is it, and is that one for sale to ??
I bought a low miler 64 Bel Air , last trip in Tx and the seller had a couple of good looking Ranchero's. A 57 and a 70?
Hey pontchief, ask Ron if he remembers selling the blue and white 57 Fairlane to a couple hillbillys from Tennessee and Georgia a few years ago. He had the 72 up for sale back then and was working on a beautiful red 57 Ranchero when we were there. Glad he kept the 72 because it's too nice to sell. How is Ron's health nowdays ?
Can you let us know what he will be selling or parting out? There's a lot of good stuff there. Thanks
I can't remember what engine it had, but I will go by there on this trip, so I can shot some more pics. I don't know, if it was for sale... I will , I didn't meet him , on my last trip , I was by a couple of times , but he wasn't there at the time. I suppose everything is for sale , I have seen he has been advertising a blue and white 59 Ranchero on Craigslist some time ago.
Pontchief, please excuse me for being rude. Thanks for the great pics. and welcome to this site. Hillbilly
