Hey guys...been viewing the site for a while and have enjoyed reading the how-to-do-it's.....just wanted to share some shots of my baby... 1974 Ranchero 351 C (installing a 408 stroker kit) C6 trans (just got rebuilt w/ shift kit and 2400 stall converter) 3:73 gears installing aftermarket a/c.. will post new pics after i get the engine back in......
Like it! like the stance, the sport panels look good as dose the mustang power window switches (I used 86 Bronco on my 73) 72 buckets look better than the 74 with headrests, and I LOVE the "BUMPER TUCK" and shaved doors, Is that Zolotone on the inner fenders and firewall?
Yes, its that nasty trunk spray....that's all redone now...i'll post new pics.. thanks for the compliments....
Agreed 100%. That thing sits perfect. >sean +++++++++++++++++ Wait a minute here ... you also said on the other thread about the Montchero that you thought it was sitting perfect, but it's a good 6" higher than this car. @74Ranchito -- your car looks great. What are the two light areas at either side of your grill?
Your car rocks. Agree the stance is perfect and the shaved doors really finish the act. My 78 is monochrome black and you have tipped me to shaving the doors. If I might ask, what are you using for door solenoids?
I believe the company is Uncle Al's.....did it about 15 years ago....... thanks to all for the compliments..... i'll post more pics when i get the engine back in.....
Very cool ride!!! I really like your interior the sport door panels with power windows (very nice). I like the sliver/w black grill and the painted bumpers look good with that set up as well. I get some greif here because my rancheros (74 and 79) both sit up much higher that stock. I was going for a certain look and I got it. Your cars stance and look do that car proud as well. take care Dan the rancher man.
Got some updated shots... 408 Stroker! FPA Headers fit like a dream... I'll be working like a madman for the next 2 weeks trying to get the engine reassembled and started....unfortunately, im only off on the weekends, so i'll be putting in a lot of late evenings after work....
Thats what I have in my Torino, both... 408c scat and FPA headers. whos doing the work? looks like you. I had Scott Johnson Build my motor, he's in Tacoma WA
Nice looking ride, interior looks great too, I didn't think I liked 73 on up chero's but I really do like the looks of yours. Nice motor and it ought to kick some butt.
