One of my son's friends was over and we were lowering his 03 Cobra, while his wheels were off I had to try them on....they are 17 X 9 FR500s, with my 1" spacers. I like them a lot but thinking with black centers instead of grey

Also, after the 351 goes in I plan on lowering it some, especially in the front

I tried similar size tires on the front of mine and they would have worked fine, assuming I didn't want to make a turn, like into a parking space, or at an intersection. Did you try turning the wheel with them on?

There is plenty of room for turning because of the spacers. Without the spacers the tires rub on the inside when you turn.

That's cool. Mine would turn a little, just not stop to stop.

Those low profile tires are fine if your roads are perfectly smooth.
If you have potholes or rocks on the road make sure to carry at least two spares.

I think these would look better if you want to run a large rim.

I like those too. Thought about the real chrome Magnum 500s in a 17 or 18 but the price tag is waaaay out of my budget. It's not I can't afford them, just more than I'm willing to pay

I like the ford rims and the 17 look. You will have to lower the truck though, the stance does not fit the wheels.

It's got a 6 in it now, waiting to see what it looks like after I put the 351W in it, but definitely planning on lowering it

Hate to tell you, but those are NOT "old School" wheels.
The off set on the Ford wheels doesn't look like it'll work with lowering.
