Hi Giska! How's it going? Again Sean, is it intuition? Or is it just that obvious? I'm guessing he's just that obvious.
I think we'll have to ask him now, because he isn't speaking up like usual. I wonder if it's that time of the month? Poor guy.
Difficult to lick your wounds and talk at the same time maybe? My guess is he got used to bloviating here without any member blowback, and he's a bit unsure how to get back behind the curtain again and continue the pontification without being exposed. But it's just a guess really; I can't speak for him.
Don't forget his MO. First, attack the person based on perceived political persuision. Second, attack the person's intellect, third post up some unknown inside joke only he gets. Remember that and he makes sense.
I was going to go back and re-read posts until I found the one he was referring to, then I realized this joke (ahem) may cross thread boundaries, and I just don't have the time, nor desire, to search for it. Hell, it may be in response to a post 3 years ago, for all we know.
You remember the show "Press Your Luck" back in the 80's? Remember that contestant who studied how the board worked and won a fortune? Baldy's like that. At first he's just an annoying bundle of angry or undecipherable posts. But once you figure out his pattern, you realize he's just an old, angry, redundant curmudgeon. He probably has dozens of pre-written posts he copy/pastes depending on the situation, and since many of them are SWAG's you can see why they can be hard to follow. What once was an enigma is determined to be just another angry old dude.
Man, I almost feel sorry for him now. He was never really a bad guy; just a little arrogant (a lot), and somewhat annoying (annoyingly so). I'm sure that when he moves on to the Ford Econoline forum (members = 3), he'll find happiness again. Bet on it. You can ask him if you don't believe me. Anyway, back on topic.. How about that green Ranchero? It looks really cool in this photo...
I like Econolines. Who knows? Maybe I'll see him there. Anyway, that's a great photo, albeit clearly not taken by a pro (lots of mistakes).
It's a fine pic, one I'd be happy to have shot. The composition and lighting and exposure are perfect. A very desirable car, but IMO the wheels were a mistake. Do you have a pic of the gear shifter final solution?
