How hard would it be to get an App for this site? Maybe the forum software provider has something. Or, what have ya' all found to be the best way to view Ranchero.US on a smart phone or tablet?
A wireless internet connection is the easiest way. Otherwise, if a benefactor, such as yourself, ponies up the dough, anything is possible.
There is an App that we could get called Taptalk I believe, I have heard good and bad things about it though.
I know this site can be viewed in a browser, like Chrome, on phones and tablets, but specific App's seem to work much better. You know what I mean? They do for newspapers, Facebook, NFL, MLB, NASCAR, etc. Anyway, just curious.
Just trying to be efficient. I don't give a flying monkey if this place gets an App or not. Let's just stay here, in the early 2000's. Who cares?
What am I missing here? I can access the site from multiple devices including my antiquated blackberry... Is it that you want the site to have it's own app permitting access on your very own and unique Zoo-2000 phone???
Who said I 'want' anything? I just asked a question. If you've view, for example, the Detroit News site on your phones browser, it's a little clunky; you get the Detroit News App, and it's pretty cool. Again, I don't care one way or another. I just wondered if the forum software company had an app already.
I know Tapatalk has a plugin to the forum but I don't think it's free, and really it works fine in the traditional format to me. Probably tough to justify the money for it.
Pretty sure it isn't already in use here. Man, you really like the place, eh? Tethering yourself to it on the mobile phone now? One word- addicted!
No, not on my phone. Seems too clunky on the MotoX, what with the little screen and all. If there was an App, maybe? Is there?
What's an app? I use my phone to talk to real people how do I talk to the site on a phone dose it talk back? Is is going to call me in the middle of the night just to talk?
An app is a product designed to allow the phone to be used as other than a phone. Want to talk into your phone and hear what you just said repeated back to you? There is an app for that, and people buy it. Many of them are known as 'paperweight apps' as they waste the battery and make the phone useless sooner.
For myself, I prefer to read all y'alls comments on a 17 inch screen so I can get the full effect of the wisdom (or idiocy maybe, once in a while) proffered.
