    Nothing.
I had taken a pair of heads in on trade (AFR, for a new engine for the Ranchero) and some guy came in and bought them. Dammit. Now I've got to find another pair.
Now that I've gone and sold them maybe I'll just buy a new set.

AFR makes good heads. There was a period where they were using cheap rocker studs that had a habit of breaking, but I understand that they are past that.

Yeah, the 3/8 studs were junk. Every order I put in I automatically upgraded to 7/16, which were ARP. Now all their studs are ARP. Great heads for not too much money. I use them on many of the builds that leave here.

Will do. I picked up some Dorman snap-in replacement sockets for them but they don't fit very well (loose) so we'll see what I can come up that has a better fit. I made some "billet" looking pucks, but they just don't have the right look. pucklight129.JPG

Would take me too long to move everything out so I can get to it, by then its time to put it all away and close up shop. I did finally get my new body mounts in it on Memorial day weekend! One small step.

Took closer look at rad. support on 72,no signs of mounting perch ever welded on...who knows!X-brace will go on 73.Took 5 years to finally find brace that wasn't destroyed.
Carl, did you bolt or weld X brace?I saved OE hardware, but don't see mounting provisions back half on 73 frame..
