UK: No need to apologize. The Duke has always been one of my hero's. Did you know that one of his first gig's was as Sandy the Singing Cowboy? Now that is a scary thought, but he did actually have a pretty decent singing voice. VR Bob J.
Spent last night watching my "Flying Tigers" DVD... Great movie... can't do better than a John Wayne Flick..
Didn't he also do the "Flying Leathernecks"? I've got the "tigers" one and seem to think I got the other too.
yep...he sure did.. lots of people these days think he only did cowboy movies...while great...his war movies were every bit as good...In Harms Way is a stellar achievement in my opinion... fantastic movie...
Wow, old thread but here's a thought...yeah I name my cars. My 69 500 felt like a male car as soon as I sat in him for the first time. Smelled, looked, and acted like a male car. So is Henry the 66 F-100. My daily driver is a little gold Mazda, she's definitely a girl, I call her Miss Maz. At first i thought that guys tend to name their cars female names and the ladies masculinize their vehicles, but i think it just depends on the situation. ok, rant over.lol -Cindy
Well, Quite a bit has happened over the last 8 or 9 years....you know, stuff like free tampons in the mens room, lawsuits for referring to a female as a girl or a male as boy. So maybe we should refer to our Rancheros as He/She......NOOOOOO scratch that. I think that term is offensive to trannies which is also offensive.........
