    WhyIzzIt so dadblamed HOT???
AND Summer is still about 8 weeks away!!!

I reckon my "Riding Season" is about OVER & will be coming to a close soon...

Monday, I went to the cattle auction house, and when I left, (in the heat of the day) I came up on an intersection with a STOP sign which had just very recently been paved...
It was more Black than the Grey road I was on...
I felt the HEAT coming up from the new pavement as soon as I rolled onto it...
I jokingly told my riding buddy Chris, the other day that Riding season is about over for me!!
And he agreed the HEAT is Rough here...

All joking aside, I`m NOTTA Whimp!
    We ride YEAR ROUND,
    D

    Get air conditioning.
It helps elderly folks handle the heat.

Ride on, Dennis! Don't let a little heat or some petty comments stop you from your passion.

    Yessiree!
I`ve seen 117 degrees on the thermometer attached to the handlebars, John, whilst STOPPED on I-75S coming from the capitol one July 3...
Stop, cool off, ride, cool off, ride...
It just means more Cool Off periods to rehydrate,

    Yeah, that will help!
Us Ol` Farts can`t handle the heat like we usedta...

Twist the throttle a little more!!!
    Don`t stop...
When I stop the heat increases,

I agree, its starting to warm up down here to and my wife has been hinting that it might be time to sell the Harley so in keeping the peace I agreed, she doesn't know that I'm going to over price it. I like my bike.

On the sad upside if I get what I'm asking (doubtful) I can pretty much finish the Chero.

For the moment until you realize later that you're blistering up, and damn that shower hurts... a lot.

Yes, and that is the reason I cover my body whenever I ride...
Long sleeves light colored shirt keeps them rays off me...
I sometimes end up with "Bikers Bracelets" where gloves don`t meet shirt sleeves ;)
However I got the cure for that at the welding shop last week, long cuffed mig welding gloves :D

We gotta Protect our body, No none else will do that for us,

On really hot days here in Phx (110+), I've had the part of my hand facing the pavement get uncomfortably hot such that I'd either flatten my hand out and/or move it out of line of sight. That black pavement radiates something fierce!

Yeah @Basstrix It only got to 95 yesterday when I checked about 3pm, in the heat of the day, whilst I headed home...
I put 302 miles on the odometer, enough to have made it to @Hillbilly s place IF I had gone thattaway...
But I came back home ;)
