Please excuse the picture quality from the TV but here is the strongest stock looking 1964 Ranchero ever made. It is carrying a crushed 1964 4-door Lincoln Continental with $1,000,000 (in 1964 prices) in gold bullion in its bed. Total weight for that crushed block of metal loaded in the bed is 7,026 lbs = 3.5 tons WOW ( 5,258 lbs for the Lincoln + 1,768 lbs of gold). And its not even scrapping the driveway. HaHa.

    That's nothing.
Carl hauled more than that out to Turlock on a regular basis in the Pyle (RIP).

You didn't add in Harold Sakata (Oddjob) and his iron derby - probably another 300+ lbs.

Good eye ! I never noticed that the street scene had white walls on it. So maybe there were 2 Rancheros for the filming? I always wondered why it was blue and not gold colored, hmmm

Look as the Lincoln is lifted up that the motor and transmission have been removed.
