Need my creature comforts. Back when I was 20, or even 30, sleeping in the bed would have been fine. Nowadays, forget that noise!

Watching leaves fall off trees gives me anticipation of our upcoming 13th Southeastern Ranchero US Roundup and our newly inspired Thanksgiving weekend Ranchero Roundup which are both Good Times!!

Ann & I are looking forward to these get togethers and meeting up with our members...
    `Twon`t be Long!

Praying everyone has a Great Day,
    Dennis

My compression test revealed a spread from 115 to 150. I think I will be spending my time rebuilding my 289. Looks like some bad exhaust valves, but while im in there might as well do the full meal deal: rings, bearings, oil pump, etc. along with the heads. My wife has been asking me why I didn't immediately rebuild the motor as soon as I bought the car since every other car I have bought a full rebuild was always step 1. I figured with just over 50K original miles it would last another 40K, give or take. Not so.

Needless to say I wont be there this year. Sorry Dennis.

    I understand these circumstances fully @cbolt & @andrewok1
Fully understand, cause my AA sponsor always tells me, you gotta put "First things First!"...
I love to leave here around dark, go through Atlanta at night & show up on Wednesday, about midnight/Thursday morning to watch this festival come together...
I get to Help Walt set up, rope off/park carshow, put out the traffic/parking signs and anything else what comes up...
But as First things First is in effect, I won`t be able to this year...
That`s why I said I`ll be arriving Saturday morning insteadda Wed/Thursday...
So, then Ann & I will be on the lookout for Rancheros in the crowd and invite them as we always do...
I`ve picked up a few thattaway,
    D

Save me a space I am trying to finish my restomod 69. to bring Rebuilding C-6 and some electricals as interior lights.(can't find constant 12v-harness been chopped up)-gas gauge(registers 1/2 full when filled up) reinstall my oem fm/am,: speedo reads way slow-20 at act 35 ???. I may bring left over parts as at 83 I'm done restoring. So I need to sell all my parts, some astd chrome, dash pods, clamps/brackets, nuts/bolts screws and a bed cover, pass. door and on and on. I am in Jasper, Ga., 25 mi from Dawsonville. I may be in mood to sell Ranchero by then. It has an awesome 1964,427 (now 455) traction bars, near new wimbleton white, new black reflective C stripes , black vynl top, black int. console shift, black Pontiac recaro type leather seats (both 9 way pwr w/button panel mounted in console where ash tray was).Bed has bamboo flooring strips mounted in all groove insets and on tailgate. The bamboo in the bed floor is a one piece lift out grid screwed together. I get a ton of good comments. I have not reinstalled the factory a/c but have all the parts. I also have lots of 80/90s NOS Ranger parts, 80s fox Mustang NOS parts. As close to Dawsonville, I may just bring truck and let anyone interested in the rest, come to Jasper. My cell is 770-617-0263, Don Perry. Lots of you coming from west and north may come thru Jasper on hwy 53
