Anyone else following the 1964 Ranchero Dave Kindig is building? Looks to have a 429 Boss and huge twin turbos, which are mounted in the bed area. I'm sure it'll be fast, and powerful, but it's going to have a big time turbo lag with 8' of exhaust to the turbos, and 8 feet of return to the intake. They finish it up next week, only on Velocity!!

This build has had me on the edge of my seat for months now. I can't wait to see it finished.

Actually, never heard of it, never heard of that dude, and really don't care. But thanks for sharing, really.

You never watched Bitchin' Rides? I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me. They do some of the best work of all the TV shows, I think.

No, I don't watch that silly show. Counting Cars for the win. How can you not like Danny, AKA The Count?

The Count is a hack. Nice guy, and all, but his customs are lame. They should have a custom build off, inviting all these TV guys. Give them all the same car, like a 1971 Maverick, a $40K budget, and let the winners be decided by fan voting.

Or not. All of the shows are scripted enough that it's all silliness. And if any of those shows wants to take my Night Runner and fix the rust and stroke it out, I don't care which one does it. As long as it's free.

Thing is, there's only like a dozen people in the country that think Durango's are cool. The ratings would tank. Then again, some of these shows would accept a dozen viewers. I can't imagine Garage Squad gets more than that.

If I had the coin and wanted the best, I would have him or Chip Foose refinish a vehicle for me, Kindig's shop doesn't look to cut corners or cover shit up just to get the vehicle out the door or into the customer's hands before it is done...correctly. Kindig or Foose, both seem like class acts, know their stuff and take your "wants" into consideration when building your project. Unless I win the lottery it'll never happen.

That's gotta be so nose-heavy it will be impossible to corner. My fantasy was an aluminum FE cammer in my 65 (from Dove) just for grins. I guess being rich woulda helped me get there.

Would $645M cover it? If I win, I'll sent most of you guys a nice care package. A couple of them will by boxes of dog poo.

Don't worry, you weren't getting the feces surprise. Yours will be special though, and it rhymes with 'berango'.
