Security screw - used to discourage item fastener is holding from removal with common tools. Works for a short period of time, then the bits are sold in hardware stores...
Doesn't look very secure, it looks like a multiple of bits could crack that one, should be called unihead.
From what I've seen,they are used for wood decking, and I'm guessing other things. Found them holding wood floor to the steel carriage of my enclosed trailer. Am guessing they were used there for speed of assembly.
