Hi All, Just returned from Vegas SEMA show reenergized to go from collecting parts to actually starting on a 63 that has been sitting neglected for too long. It's !ROUGH! but savable with a lot of work. I have a lot of garage space and I'm retired so I have more time than money which makes reusing what I can important. I hope to use your combined knowledge to make it go easier.

We'll help where we can, and I haven't seen a nut we couldn't yet crack.

Welcome Dan... and they have cracked a lot of nuts. Busted one or two as well!

    one step at a time...

Picture one is how mine started... picture two is four years later...

And I had plenty of support from the members here!

Welcome to the family. Are you going to take it down to the frame? I'd love to on some vehicle, but my wife would probably kill me.

Hey, I used to have that same Craftsman tool chest, with the same kind of "I'll hold on to this, in case I need it" crap strewn all over it. Sold it after my heart went bad, as I needed cash. Oh, and no FE Ranchero stored behind it, unfortunately.

    Welcome Dan!

Pony, that's one of the best looking 69's I have ever seen. Not to mention one of my favorite years!!!

Welcome Dan. A lot of knowledge in this group. They have certainly helped me along the way.

Thanks.. much appreciate the comments, and the support Y'all provided during the build!

Dan don't know it yet, but he will look back after his car is done, and see joining this group as one of the best decisions he made when he decided to build a Chero! I know I do! Now I come back to help, and share my limited mechanical knowledge, and my substantial documentation for those who are building now.
