front toe kick done and front floor pan fit and aligned with first floor support, now I will need to cut on trans tunnel and start spot welding in place
I am just now finding this thread... I`m glad I`m already past this floorboard replacement/fabricating on my Rusty Project... You`re making GOOD progress @andrewok1... It looks better`n it reads We RIDE D
Thanks AS IS , picked up more sheet metal today - little started on underseat section/ china hammers could not stand up to American metal- both craped out
"china hammers could not stand up to American metal- both craped out" Time for some nice Eastwood hammers!
yea , I just bought the panel punch and beveled-edge tool, its called THE PERFECT PANEL air tool works good , well I was using what I had on hand, I got lots of hammers no worries there, sheet metal cost a chunk of money 16-18 gauge got 1/2 sheet of each
Have you thought about a Harbor Freight brake? When I made my patch panels I used the one we had at work, and it made the job so much easier. I bet if you bought one for $100, you could sell it for $60 when you are done. Although, looks like you are about finished anyway.
Yeah, and I made my "Redneck Metal Break" from 3/8" thick Angle... Had a pic somewhere? I do like your progress but hate that them hammers busted... We RIDE D
