Reminds me of a book I read, back in high school, about the after effects of detonating the first atomic bomb. None of the scientists could agree with any of the meteorologists about anything concerning fallout, with the upshot that the fallout travelled about three times as far (some 120 mi., thereby falling on ranchers and farmers) and somehow eventually ending up in milk from dairies in Illinois. Kind of reminds me of the '70s horror flick "Food of the Gods" at the end, where it shows the FOTG washing into a stream, which flows into a river, which is suctioned up to water cows, that produce milk that gets sent to schools....

And it also spoke of deformities in the indigenous life in the area; the one that ruded me out was the two-headlight snake.

Sounds like the fish in the creeks surrounding Oak Ridge Andy. Thought it was a silly joke until I was shown them in person. Oh hell no we ain't eating none of those, at least not intentionally.

Andy, it sounds like you're talking about Hanford, but that's Eastern side of the state......learned about that facility in an Enviro Chem class I took in college... One of the prof's hobby was the study of Nuclear History...very knowledgeable guy... Interestingly enough, he's considered by many to be the father of nitro burning dragsters. His name is Dean Hill, for anyone that wants to look him up.

I've heard that name, Dean Hill, when nitro dragsters were ever discussed. And it would not ever surprise me if the fauna in the Reach were affected by radiation also. The political crap's getting deep, and the handling very closely scrutinized, as those areas around the Hanford site are gone over.

Already had one of those Dan. Slowly thinning the herd so another isn't in the cards right now. Sold mine to a Cadillac collector in Canada, Steve Plunkett. Super nice guy who brings something unique to show every year at the Eyes On Design show at the Ford shack on the lake in Detroit. Same guy bought this sister wagon new as he bought the one I sold to Steve the next year. 1956_cadillac_wagon_f.jpg 55_Caddy_home_6-10-07.JPG

My late brother Geoff told one of his daughters that he had a Viagra prescription due to his high blood pressure, as it's correct blood pressure that allows a man to have an erection. So she leaves the room with a look of doubt on her face; several minutes later, we hear from the bedroom, "Daddy, you lied to me!"
