Bushing kits for those idler arms are available if you care to rebuild. NAPA should have them. had my 65's. It was a 8 cyl though.

I remember contouring shoes. Don't think it has been necessary on vehicles since organic linings. Are there still contouring machines in existence?

Check for corrosion on the fuses and fuse clips. I'm presuming this has the old style tubular fuses but the same goes for the newer type(s).
