    Was just on u tube and seen a 1973 film called fear is the key .They trashed a 72 gt. Anybody ever seen it

    I didn't hear of it in 73 because movies were the furthest thing from my 18 year old mind.

    Yeah. I seen bullet and dirty Mary crazy larry. Used cars and all them never heard of that one until yesterday ,I think that driver was in the movie with the challenger that drove into the bull doers

    Yep, the driver is Barry Newman. He was also the driver in Vanishing Point, not the crappy remake, but the 1971 original.

    In 1973 I was 8 years old and playing with my brother's Hot Wheels.

    Seen that chase, but not the movie. I managed to find Crazy Mary Dirty Larry on DVD a few years back. if you remember The Fall Guy, the opening sequence features the end scene from that film, where the Charger hits the train.

    We're the same age...29. Mom (and sometimes Dad) always took us to the drive-in (imagine a family of seven in a '66 Galaxie 500, a '71 Club Wagon and a '66 Delta 88. So yeah, I remember Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry, Vanishing Point (double feature there), along with a whole host of other car movies, war films, horror flicks, Disney (The Love Bug, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, That Darned Cat, Robin Hood), etc.
