I ran into another problem no that hopefully some one here has the solution for. The throttle cable and bracket seems to be to short now and will not work with my 351w with the edelbrock rpm air gap intake. Any ideas or know of anything I can use?
Thank you, I missed it. I hope they work well for you. Are you using any special (or even 'space-age') fasteners?
You may want to try to locate a 429/460 cable for the '72/'73 intermediate cars, which includes the Ranchero. They're taller and have a 4-barrel, so the cable might be a bit longer to reach the carb's ball stud; otherwise, you may have to modify the factory bracket or fab one up to get it to reach.
Would you happen to know where I can get one because there usually never is any of these around here in the wrecking yardd
