Has anyone used these adapters to put 5X4.5 Magnum wheels on 5X5 Ranchero. My cars actual 5X4.5 now but want to convert it to the bigger brakes and bearing on the 5X5

I have not used anything like that, but have always shied away from them.

Contacted a company that makes drill and slotted rotors and going to see if they'll drill the 5X4.5 bolt pattern instead of the 5x5 for me

I think that is a good solid approach.

Larger diameter rotors may not clearance 15" wheels.I rebuilt stock brakes, upgraded pads, with addition of hydo-boost assist on the 72.Out performs my 73
with stock vac. assist.by a large margin.

Nice set up . I have a 72 GT Q code so making upgrades with the stock look. The large rotor's are 11.8" off a 15" the smaller are 10.72 on 14" or 15"

Yeh,I was going to upgrade 9" rear to 8.8 disc brakes but calipers wouldnt clear 15X8 mag 500s.Dont think braking improvement would justify 1500 ranchero bucks for new wheels and tires. As far as mods under the hood,I just keep it closed!

make sure the aftermarket rotors are for 72/3 and they have a smaller ID inner bearing and not for the 74/9 spindles

I have the spindles And rear with the 11" brakes from a 77 t-Bird so going to upgrade to both of them. It also had the heavier front sway bar and a rear sway bar so upgrading them too. I thought they had the 5X5 on them but I was surprised they are 5X4.5
