I see we have two events I`d like to attend... BUT this is the same weekend we host our annual Fundraiser for ABATE of Georgia... Both these events are kinda set in stone as for the dates... So, NO I will not be able to attend these Spring Roundups in Daytona... Unless Sean can convince the folks to change the date I do look forward to our get together in November, @andrewok1 D
I am told the ABATE event will run without you Dennis, however if you came to the roundup you would be 25% of the attendees. That is huge!
Wish I could @cbolt but, I can`t skip out, we only have 8 members putting on the poker run and the bike show... I`m District Coordinator... Plus I gotta show up to judge bikes in the show... That means I got the title of "Head haunch-oh" in my district... Hell, I might 25% of our members here, D

I got the know how to get it outta the hole... Them critters wouldn`t bother me, we gotta plenty here Yeah, we discussed the poker run/bike show today during our monthly meeting... We do one fundraiser for "state" each year and this is it... We`ve had 70 bikes in the past, so it`s busy... Then this year we added the bike show too... Fighting for Bikers rights, D I`ve been ABATE since it started in the 70s
I'm looking pretty good for making it. Engine and trans still out, but the wiring is getting close. Waiting for dynamat, wire tape, and some waterproof connectors to complete the rewire, at which point I can reinstall the interior and engine/trans. Barring any huge problems I should have a week or two to spare. No time for lollygagging and malingering for me! Learned today that the front marker lights on the 67 are all one piece. The wire pigtail and housing are a single assembly. Pretty stupid. I am going to see if I can remove the light socket somehow from the housing, otherwise I have to reuse the 50 year old marker lights and wiring. Seems silly after rewiring the whole car. Ugh!

If ya hurry you can "git `er done"... I sometimes wish I weren`t so dedicated to our ABATE District, BUT > My district requested and the DCs voted to give Ann & myself free Lifetime membership... SO I reckon it`s my duty to be obligated to fighting for GA motorcyclists rights... I am proud to have hosted our 13 annual Southeastern Ranchero Roundup for so many years... I love meeting members, D
Not my predicted week or two to spare, but I got it running and driving yesterday after almost 5 months of work. One leak at the intake manifold and heater core hose fitting to address this morning then its off to Daytona. The weather is supposed to be perfect!
