That's been on-and-off CL for quite sometime....ruined in my estimation, but to each his own. I was at the Charlotte auto fair yesterday and saw a lot of different "tastes"...!

Far from "stock." It's not bad, for me. I would be happy driving it, except for the electric windows. I like the minimalist feel of these old cars. But it's not worth anywhere near the asking price.

Yes, I figured that was a typo, and he meant '63 instead. But you never know. There are a lot of non-SS Chevies running around that are advertised as the real deal.

Well, the next line down does say 1963 Ranchero. Minor typo.
Not a bad car, but it seems a bit overpriced. I really like the color and the mods. Although I am not sure I would be comfortable in one of those with the top chopped. I had a 60 Ranchero many years ago, and I don't remember there being much headroom when I was in it.
Judging from the one bed picture of the gas fill door he added, not much if anything done to make the bed nice.
Wonder what the bottom of the car looks like?

Well, I contacted the seller and told them that it's listed as a '53, when it's obviously a '63. Didn't matter; it's still listed as a '53. Good luck on the sale, I guess …
