There is a buyer for everything, great paint theme but I choose to be patriotic in a more subtle way.
I agree, where is the blue or was it built in honor of a previous commander in chief. Red white and black.
the external paint scheme isn't so bad...but like a good kraft beer on draft....ya gotta know when to whoa....
When I look at the rear suspension pic, this is what comes to mind: I can appreciate all the hard work, but damn, he(just a guess) even painted the u-joint cap retainers . Must have had one hell of a nagging wife to spend that much time out in his garage .
Good call. Zero points for him! The thing is, if he would have painted the thing just red, or blue, or white, or black, and painted the bottom black, and the engine blue, it would be worth more money.
I get it, it's over-painted times 10. But dang guys, you're beating the guy up and he obviously cared enough to do all that work. And I will give him credit for a pretty fair ask compared to how much time and $$ that was spent on it. There's much worse stuff out there than this. Besides, a couple months on the road and all that silly underbody paint would scuff off anyway.
