Vaping kills, I lost my son last night

It is with a heavy heart that I bring tragic news, my beloved son Jarrett passed away last night due to complications from his recent fight with pneumonia brought on by vaping. Although we are still in shock and grieving of course, we are comforted in the fact that he now is without pain or worry and has changed many minds as to the dangers of what he went through, he now walks healed beside our Lord and Savior above. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Wow, really sorry to learn of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

 

Thank you so much, our hearts are broken and will be for quite a while, but he no longer hurts and we must take comfort in that. Today, I really miss my little buddy. To those that have kids, hug them extra tight as often as you can, please, for I saw my son's life fade from going out with a friend and being deceased in less than 2 hours. The look of fear in his eyes in the final moments of his life and the fact that I could not "fix" it or make it go away, will haunt me to my dying day.

 

This is terrible news, you have my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you so much for the love and support, my grieving comes in waves, I try not to show my wife but it is hard not to. Jarrett knew we loved him and we know he loved us, we take additional comfort in that, but we still feel selfish wanting him to be here, God had a higher calling and he decided that Jarrett's job was done here. His body is now enduring an autopsy in hopes that the findings will be "concrete" enough to keep people from vaping and/or smoking. Please keep the prayer chain intact, my wife and I truly appreciate the outpouring of love from the members here.

I am so sorry to hear this. I share your pain and sense of loss. Thoughts of peace and comfort to you and your family.

 

Jarrett's last pic of himself with the only "girl" that stayed by his side, his beloved Jade, she is grieving right along with us. He took this about 6 hours before his passing, unbelievable how fast Jarrett went from this to being gone.


I am so sorry to keep posting about the loss of my son Jarrett, it is just so painful right now, please keep me and my wife in your thoughts and prayers. To all the members who have replied and will reply to this thread, I appreciate every one of you.
