I know that 56 year old Rancheros are getting are to find, but this seems like a way overpriced flip to me. Former 6 cylinder car, '65 grille, red & white interior with black door panels, non-working tach, Mustang shifter, missing front gravel guard behind bumper, etc., etc., etc. I figure it might be worth $5K, but not $19900. How about you guys? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-Ford-Ranchero/402338605613?hash=item5dad3fea2d:g:kXAAAOSw2uhe84CS
They call that 'aspirational' pricing in the real estate world. Count the number of drips on the ground under the front bumper in the first pic, then see how it changes as you page thru the pics.
I guess mine would be worth more than I think? Also note, no scripting on the outside(FORD, Ranchero etc). and the molding on the tailgate doesn't fit correctly. It look nice, but I think I am happier with what I have.
For 19,900 seems it should be very well sorted and it has a few pluses, but there is still a bunch of work to do or re-do.
It's the resto-mod trend. Anything with a new paint job and shiny bits must be worth 20k. Let's add up the receipts, add 30% for profit, and go.
