This is a rolling chassis with no engine or interior, ready to be built. Currently still has a big block C6 transmission in it. It does have a hood, it is just not in the pics. Car is located near Braidwood, IL. Asking $1000.

It is mine. I'm trying to sell it, preferably to a fellow Ranchero fan. It is currently in storage at a friends place.

Both the floor pans and bed are pretty rusted. They are repairable, but it will take some patching. I'll try and have my dad get a picture of it today. I live about a hour away from where it is stored.

Well Mine are flintstone floors and the bed floor and tailgate area looks like window screen LOL it is gone, so if it is something I can fix or cut out of yours to fix mine or just fix yours and add my parts, lets see what it looks like with the pics and go from there ok. Thank you.

Here are some pics of the bed and the floor pan. The bed floor is pretty good except for over the wheel arches. There are some holes in the floor boards on the passenger side but the driver side is ok. The GT steering wheel in the pic is no longer there. I have a standard one to go on it.

Cab floors look usable but that bed has rust holes on sides and looks like on floors too that someone tried filling with Bondo but only thing is body filler unless it's a chopped fiberglass filler is porous like a sponge and they left it in the elements with no primer so it's basically scrap metal as far as the bed.
I have same issue with two Rancheros the bed and cab floors are rusted.
Cab floor was patched with tin, screws and rivets so I would have to cut out the entire cab floor.
I have a friend who has a Ranchero roller I am going to get the body shell that has a bad roof skin from vinyl roof but bed and floors are in good shape so I'll take the shell and put it on the 72 Ranchero frame and cut roof off one of the Rancheros and weld it on the body shell with bad roof, which will be easier then cutting out floors and welding them in.
It's a shame that Red 73 has such a rough bed.
Even steel diamond plate over the floor won't save it since the sides are so rotted out
