Found a set of full-size/Lincoln brake caliper mounting brackets that allows larger diameter rotors to be installed while reusing your '73-'79 Ranchero calipers/brake pads. Brackets come with mounting bolts. $100 for the pair plus shipping.
Not running under Andy, just curious. 1978 Mk Lincoln, would those be the same ? Got one that has four wheel disc brakes. I know the Lincoln has a larger lug pattern but if the entire spindle and brake assembly was used along with the entire rear axel assembly, is it possible those would bolt up under a 72 thru 79 Ranchero ? My Lincoln suffered a rusted roof under the vinyl top that resulted in the floor pan rusting beyond redemption. Parts car now for when a solid Ranchero turns up.
IIRC, the whole spindle assembly will bolt up to '72-'79 Ranchero upper/lower control arms(a bit of a difference in the early UCA bushings), ball joints, tie rods, brake calipers and brake hoses are the same.
