It's sort of like that. I think it's cute that someone thought the Ranchero Roundup was actually a real event, like the Dream Cruise, Hot August Nights, Pinto-fest, etc.
I have had it on my calendar for months. Large gathering of old Fords, interesting people, and verity of food
As this event draws neigh, I get to anticipating the fellowship of our members, all them Cars, vendors and people... As the people are some of the greatest!!! I`ve learned a lot of History lessons just sitting and talking to the Old Timers... There ain`t but 6 more Saturdays between us now
Dennis, To clear things up(for me anyhow), the roundup happens during the Moonshine Festival which takes place on Oct 24-25th and not on the 28th as previously mentioned? Looking to come this year, traveling/caravanning with Andrewok1. Never been before so It'll be an eye-0pening experience.
Sorry Sean It is a real event, just because it coincides inside another event dose not make it any less real. It is a gathering of Members of this forum with the help of a few dedicated members of this forum that makes it a real event. Not sure why you try and put it down every chance you get?
Yes sir, the Moonshine festival is the happening we agreed upon when we moved our venue to Dawsonville over Andersonville... In hopes of getting more Ranchero USA members together for fellowship, we figured the MORE the Merrier!!! 2,000 cars at the Moonshine fest 20 - 30, 000 people is daily attendance... A GREAT Weekend Full of - All Ford Show, Ranchero Roundup, Swap Meet & Vendors too... My apology for previously posting the incorrect date... Back when I posted, I was going by, it generally falls on the last weekend of October Thanks for the insight, the correct date Oct 24 & 25 2015 is posted,... Headed to them mountains and the area today... I`ve not been to Dawsonville without it FULL of cars, people and vendors... We get to see what it looks like as a town Time draws neigh, Beautiful camping weather... Y`all come
It might surprise you Dennis. For a little town, it is a lot busier than you'd expect. Only wish one other thing would happen during the event = If Bill's brother would do a weekend long dyno run on something interesting my dream would be complete. The beautiful sounds from his dyno echo thru them hills soooo nice ! Makes an old hillbilly's mind conjure up visions of some poor ol' revenuer loosing the battle yet again to a local boy intent on getting his load of shine out of them hills to Atlanta. You can hear that dyno a good ten miles. Beautiful music !
We attended an ABATE of GA Swap Meet in Helen, following the lead motorcycle didn`t allow us a peek at the Dawsonville daily weekend routine... Oh Well!! Over the weekend I received an encouraging private message with TWO of our members from Florida planning on attending OUR 10th annual Ranchero USA Roundup... I wish to encourage YOU to come to this event also... As you will be amoungst Racecar drivers, Dragstrip drivers, Cars, Trucks, NASCAR, Girls, Vendors, Swap meet along with several Ranchero USA members this year... Lets make a good showing and fellowship... Sound off+++ 1&2 > Ann & I will be there!!

This time next week we`ll be enjoying ourselves at our 10th annual RancheroUSA Roundup in the busy little town of Dawsonville, GA... Maybe not at 8 am, but Friday Week!!! I might suggest to Arrive early and be in town before 9 though... Because traffic is horrendous! Especially Saturday & Sunday... Look for the RancheroUSA Banner at the All Fords Show Ann & I are looking forward to seeing all of you there, D
