What with Ann under the weather not feeling 100%, I gotta keep our (nearly) 2 years old niece mornings this week too,...
IF she`ll go to sleep, I just MIGHT get time to download pics to SuperMotors...
Got the chimney cleaned today in preparation for fires in the fireplace...
Got a stack of cured, but I Still gotta cut & bust some "Green wood" too...
Still clearing out our driving paths from Irmas destruction, only a few trees, but, still a job for an Old Man...

Okay, we will see the pics when we see them then. It turns out I had enough time today to make the 5.3 hour round trip to get the hood. Its a thing of beauty. It has all the correct nuts to install the original hardware so installation should be fairly straightforward. The two guys who run the joint were pretty excited when I pulled into their loading area in my '67. Apparently they don't get to see customers cars in person, and took several photos of me and my car. LOL

Additionally the "long" trip served to see what the car needs to become what I would consider a road trip worthy car. I have some work to do, but all in all not too bad. There is a significant amount of heat coming from the shifter area into the passenger compartment that I need to address, an oil leak, and a suddenly non-functioning air conditioner that likely needs a leak fixed and another charge. Good to know stuff before hitting the road for a longer trip. Otherwise it was a fun trip. While stopped in traffic in Orlando I had a person next to me ask what kind of car I was driving. LOL Kids never seen a Ranchero before.

A few weeks back, sitting around the campfire a girl said she saw the "Neatest Car or Truck!" With excitement she Said it was a "Chero or something" :D
An said "yeah, we have a few of them"...
Her excitement grew even more then as the conversation continued ;)

I`ll get piocs as quick as I can...
John just came in from work asking me to install his rear tire on the VTX...
Add another iron in the fire,
