Thin Skin doesn't go well when you're restoring a round body ranchero, some people hated them no matter how fast or nice they are. Maybe a Chevy would be a better fit for one with thin skin. large wallet+viagra= Your girl is mine.
I'm not leaving due to any comments or criticism about my car. I don't care if people don't like it, and I don't think anyone has really made any negative comments about my car.
No need to leave. I must warn you that if you plan on keeping the Ranchero it would be wise to stop by when it needs repairs. There are more than afew people here that have REAL hands on to share.
I found a couple local guys with a few round body rebuilds under their belts. I'll post updated pics occasionally as body work gets done somewhere down the line.
Hi Sam, Glad you decided to stick around. I would have posted sooner, but I am spending a lot of time on searching for a job. For greatest value retention, try to keep your ride true to its original specs. Decode the data plate on the driver's door and restore to that color and interior combination. If you have a resto-mod mindset, then any color combo you like, with any drive train you like is possible. All my cars/trucks sport original color paint with original style interiors.
Too bad it wasn't a couple years ago, has 2 chero's from 60 I used for trade and what not...could'a help with parts list
