Hello folks. Ol black my 1969 ranchero needs new floor pans in the rear. Including the smugglers box floor. My question is, are those seperate pieces ? Or if I buy rear floor pans, do they also cover the smugglers box ? And where is the best place to get them from.
Also looking for the driver side door panel, black. And what other vehicles such as torino or Fairlane are the same ones? Thanks folks

Hello there . I've had to do something similar to my 66 Ranchero. Floor pans were shot, the car spending its whole life in the Pacific Northwest, until I rescued it last year. I'm not for certain on a '69, but for most floor pan assemblies you would have toe board, front, & rear, all separate pieces of metal. Mine did not encompass the smuggler's box area. I only had a few small holes in the box area, was able to patch it sweating in some Lead.

Some great sources for getting the floor pans: Autokrafters.com ; ford.obsoleteandclassicautoparts.com ; C&G Ford Parts.com . A good salvage yard called CTC Auto Ranch in Texas may still have a few Rancheros left to salvage from.

Depending on how bad the smuggler's box is, a good piece of 16GA metal would work as well. Best of Luck on the repairs.

Another one here not sure of the 69 but I put a new panel in my 1970 one late last year. I'd assume that they would be similar in the area of floor that they cover. Mine went from the front seat mounting x-member back to halfway up the kick back to the smugglers which can hopefully be seen below. As suggested above, I'd be tempted to just make a couple of panels up for that area if needed.
