I have a 1976 Ranchero with a 400 and a C6 with column shift automatic. I have a donor 1976 Cougar XR7 that has a 351m (not sure what tranny) with a factory floor shift. What all is involved and what parts do I need from the Cougar to make this conversion. FYI, I have already removed the Cougar steering column, floor console. The engine and tranny are still in the Cougar but was wanting to haul it off but wanted to make sure I had all the pieces I needed first
    Thanks

Snag the shifter hump(mounting base),all the wiring nss, reverse lights.Shift rod, bushings and lever from tranny valve body.Make note of
placement of console and shifter hole in cougar,it will make relocating easier.I would keep drive shaft just in case.If your using buckets, grab all mounting hardware(capture nuts) as well.
