Got to sell my car. I need the money. It's a Ranchero 500, which an Earl Scheib black over the original burgandy paint. 351M, California car. You guys probably know more about the specifics of it than I do. It's got over 120K miles on it. But, it's got a new radiator, smog pump, air shocks, and tires. It's got electric windows, but manual locks. I think it's got the gauge and towing package as there is a transmission cooler. It's missing the exhaust pipe from the muffler on back. But, it starts up every time, even after sitting, and runs well. It's registered non-op, but is current so there won't be any back fees. It will need a smog check and I have no idea if it will pass. I've got the "salvage" title. I'm asking $1000 for because that's what the State of California will pay me for it if it doesn't pass smog. If I can't sell it, I won't bother to prep it before I take it down to get it tested with the hope it doesn't pass as I can't afford to maintain it and need the cash. I'd rather sell it to someone than see it get crushed, but I know the economy sucks (that's why I'm selling it too) and that the fun "extra" cars are not easy to get rid of. Everyone in this group is so obviously into the Ranchero and has been a big help to me in the past, so I figured this was a good place to start. Email me, cycledick@yahoo.com if you're interested. I'll update this post if I sell if through craigslist or end up getting rid of it some other way. I can supply more pics if you like. Just let me know. Oh, and I'm in Pleasanton, California, just east of SF.
