Nice van, I would have gladly given you $500. for it when it was broken.
I would have gladly taken it too. Guess I'm glad no one wanted it then. I've always loved the 460 so that was a big plus when I got it. Did a ton of work on it before the pump went out too. So it should be good to go for a long time now. Hopefully. It's got primary towing duty for the pontoon boat so we really need it again.
Hope he has a small pontoon boat, wouldn't hook it to mine, Bennington 22.75 FS.
Just add an extra rope as a safety strap and it would be good to go.
After all, this is legit
I remember those hook ups from the 70's I had a picture of a Toronado hanging on the wall in my shop with the rear tires removed with an EZ Lift equalizer hitch with a house trailer hooked up to it.
They didn't over engineer things back then.
If you hit a hard bump, you put your hands up to help hold the ceiling.
I still remember the trip to Yosemite when we lived in Modesto with a clamp on bumper hitch and my dad stopping a lot to crank down on it and that was just with a bubble trailer. That was the early 60's, great memories.
Married my second wife in Yosemite.
Ribald1, years ago, my friend Denny, bachelor til age 29 got married there. I recall leaving Hayward early on a Saturday, attending the ceremony and campground reception. Then driving home same day. Really tired, luckily didn`t end up in the Merced river.
That marriage lasted 3 months. Last I heard Denny was on # 3........
Agree, Yosemite is a beautiful place. I now live 60 miles from the valley floor. My wife and I often times go there for lunch, more so when we were riding motorcycles.
Which by the way is dangerous.........NO ONE is looking at the road......
Yes it is.
