2000 Lincoln NO Start

    That cowl area is important to keep clean Dennis. Over the years, what debris acumulates around the wipers eventually deteriorates into a powder that can clog up the air flow thru the evaporator core. You are old enough to appreciate working A/C so keep that area cleaned. Enough of that crap piled up in the A/C box can corrode the aluminum evaporator core causing a freon leak. While you are looking at your car, find the drain on the evaporator case and make sure it is open. If you keep the top side clean and the drain open the evaporator core will be somewhat self cleaning as the moisture that condenses on the evaporator core drains it takes the dirt out with it. Now that you got rid of the ants in the fuze box, spray it down with WD-40 to wash out the bug killer.

    Yes, Petey, I cleared that screened "vent" and opened the drain with my finger, a screw fell out the drain... I dunno where it comed from??

    Yeah many a cowl has been lost to rust

    Thanks fer the heads up on that, it will NOT get like that no more...

    I didn`t open the power source/fuses box to spray, but I will hit it inside with some contact cleaner spray then WD40 too...

    Into town last night and discovered HOWTO adjust the clock, it was off time on accountta I unhitched the battery during my diagnosis and relay swap...
    Do any of y`all gotta junk yard near ya, that you might can scrounge me an owners manual???

    Closest yard to me is 80+ miles round trip,

    I figured out howto adjust the clock ;)
    I need to know where & what fuses are for what, they sure ain`t labeled...

    I reckon I COULD Figure that out too,
