Hey guys,so a new issue,my daughter has a 2014 edge, called me in a panic on Sunday, her passenger door window would only go down and rain was coming,I checked the window switch,I actually took the back door switch and plugged it in front and same thing, only went down, pulled the door panel off, pulled the motor and manually rolled up the window,is it the motor?I googled it and it said you have to replace the whole wiring harness and motor?as always thanks for any thoughts or help you can send my way!

Unless the harness has a defect, even with the new ways electricals are engineered, it would not be a harness problem. They have an initialization procedure to learn FULL UP and FULL DOWN positions, which can affect window operation if it goes wrong.

You're quite welcome! But, I highly recommend, do not disconnect the battery as part of the de-initialization. That can cause any other numbers of electrical problems, especially if you disconnect the positive cable (some people actually do that, and regret it). I recommend you use the second or third methods.
