    Good Luck.
I'm just mad that I can't make it to Florida to hunt Gator this year. Dad got pulled for tags and I can't take time away from the business right now. At least I will get some gator meat soon!
Had some dumb bucks standing in the road the other morning on way to the shop. Almost had to stop for them they wanted to be bumper Bambi the way they stood there.

Just got back from Turkey hunting. Got a bird . It was a different hunt this year Dad was in hospital the week before turkey hunt. He did the Sr deer hunt he got a deer before the hospital trip . Also sighted in my .270 Remington 700, used an old target. Made no adjustments from when I bought it at the auction. Think it's game on!
Have my buck tag 3 doe tags and now have to go get 3 DMAP tags processed. Good thing the trigger finger is itchy ! Start hunting deer Saturday after thanksgiving.

    Thanks guys.
Rifle season runs for 2 weeks after thanksgiving . Archery started mid September. Shotgun in special reg areas runs the 2 weeks after thanksgiving then stops and reopens day after Christmas for about a month .
I don't have the time off for all of the different seasons or the places to hunt all of them. In process of moving to eastern shore of Maryland now and down there seems everyone pays a hefty lease for hunting spots. Maybe someday I will get lucky enough to have the time and places to hunt as much as i would like.

Well back from hunting. Ended up with 4 deer all doe. At least it fills the freezer. It was a little bit of an off year as far as seeing deer. Camp only got 10 deer through Thursday one 7 point and another buck that would have been a 9 point but had broken both G-2's off, rest were all doe. About 13 people in the hunting club.
I went 3 days without seeing any deer in the woods an unusual event for me as I am a still hunter and roam allover the woods. Tuesday we had snow all day between 4-6 inches and Wednesday it went down to a low of 12 degrees.
Got dad in the woods some this year he had been having back pain last couple years and had a back operation earlier this year. The legs just aren't back for him yet as he is unsteady. Made a easy walk for him with weed whacker across a small section of brush field to a blind at corner of woods. He missed a few shots during the week.
