Figures it's in Florida when I no longer live there.
Wish more Rancheros would attend Carlisle Ford Nationals in June.
There has to be a bunch of owners on the North East but only a few Rancheros show up.
They have awards for 1st 2nd and 3rd and doubt they have given them all out every year in Ranchero category

Someday when I get time ill drive mine up to Carlisle just to win one of those sweet awards LOL It runs a little warm on the interstate now and until I get the AC condenser situated properly to prevent the warm engine temps I have to keep the trips fairly local.

In the meantime bring that banner Andy! I know we would all love to see "Rocky" regardless of how many parts are missing. It cannot possibly look worse than mine.

Andy & I were talking of this Ranchero Member gathering whilst traveling on our recent trip to see @Hillbilly and I just KNEW it would be 4th weekend as usual...

Y`all KNOW I Want to be there, I Hope it`ll work out for me to make it...

Being dedicated ABATE of Georgia members, officers and supporters, Ann & I are obligated for Saturday, midday, here...
We finish up here around 3 Saturday, & by being right on I-75 @ exit 82 > I can leave then...
IF traffic is moving well, I can be at Daytona Speedway by nightfall to party with y`all "Big Dogs" ;)

How many of y`all hang around Saturday night for Sundays activities?
All I need is 3`X 6` for me and my sleeping bag... The bed of your Ranchero would be the right size :D

I gotta mind to visit Sunday, IF You`ll be around...

    We`ll See,
    Dennis

Dennis, both Andy and I live close enough to the track we each go home at the end of the day. I am always back on Sunday for the final day of the show so it wouldn't be a problem either coming here and hanging out Saturday night and hitting the show on Sunday, provided Andy will make the trip again. What do you say Andy? Drive over for Sunday too this year?

I know Saturday is the busiest day of the show. and THAT is what I`d like to see ...
We`ll see what we can see though...
This won`t be the first time I`ve gone to Florida after our annual ABATE-District 13 poker run...
    I did it in 2010 after winning the pot with 3 - 10s :D

IF I can I`d like to do Bike Week also, so maybe we can get together then also???

There ain`t Nothing "set in concrete" yet, though,

Oooh, I dislike bike week, but would meet you if you come down. Too many folks who have no business riding in the first place attend bike week. It gets crazy/stupid.

It was until every chevy/mopar/other were embarrassed by the mighty Rancheros and left (That would be Andy and Cbolt's story and they're stickin' to it...)

That was early morning on the first day. The spring event is significantly smaller than the Thanksgiving event. Same vendors, less traffic. Plus because of the smaller crowd they open the track on Sunday for a "parade lap", which they cannot do in November.

Oh, and of course the mighty Ranchero's chased everyone off too. ;)

I would argue that the Dream Cruise is the largest car show in the world.

The Cruise on Gratiot isn't as large but it is still impressive. I vote Dream Cruise is the winner.

I Vote Carlisle as the Worlds Largest, simply because >
Carlisle is SO BIG, that they gotta divide the Chevies from the FORDs from the Dodges...
We had our first ever Ranchero Round Up of members/reunion there for FORDs 50th Anniversary of the Ranchero...
They Got our ALL FORDs Show in Dawson GA too...

    And the Beat Goes ON,
    Dennis

    Ford Rules!
