For sure, but I still have (most) of my original drivetrain. A couple teeth have gone to the recycler.
The car was sold new at Good-Reichman in Yreka CA to the first owner who lived in Tule Lake CA, then must have been traded in and sold to another customer from Yreka at the same dealer; I have the original owner's manual with their info; it had 18,105.6 miles on it at that time. Then it went to a guy in Oregon that restores early Mustangs, and that's who I bought it from. So I'm #4.
Pretty cool...makes me want to do a little research myself. I know my heap was two failed/incomplete attempts at restoration which I have pretty much changed everything on for numerous reasons...like stupid things done! And I'm a Hot Rodder at heart...
I contacted the Yreka Historical Society to see if they had any info about the dealership; here's what they found in their collection of phone books (what are those?):
