What's so special about the rear brake hose on a '66? Why are they only available for '57 thru '65, and '67 thru '71?? BZ
I ain`t tried to purchase this item yet...I overlooked it when doin my brakes...I hope I ain`t got a problem,gettin it...my fronts came from Th ZONE...
I would suggest that the sales person (with pimples) has no idea what you need or want, take an old one into the place and see if they can find a match. I would guess that the '67 would work. Perhaps the '65 are the same. My limited knowledge is they were all the same. Dave
i was told that the one problem a guy had with swapping a rear end into a 66 falcon, and likely the same problem with the 66 ranchero, is the fitting on one end was different between the 66 and 67 rear ends. as far as the 65 and earlier hoses, likely the same thing.
The 66 is different, it is 3/8 on all three ends. There are several that will work, just have move the hard lines on the rear housing a little.
