67 Ranchero near Nashville $4000

That's the biggest problem right now. The only money I have will probably be going to the guvment on April 15th. If you'll buy it an hold it for a few months, maybe then I could afford it.

 

dont i know it....there was a 60 ' chero down in Valdosta i was eyeing....sweating it out..afraid the bidding was going to stay low.... Even the wife said.."if it stays there you have to buy it" luckily it passed $700 and being non running it was out of the "range"... really dont have the time/budget to handle anything else but it would have been SWEET!

 

Oh well, I guess we'll have to turn to Hillbilly and see if we can make him feel guilty enough to buy it. It is practically right there in his back yard you know. How about it, Hillbilly?

Can't do anything right now. Just bought a 69 Cougar yesterday and I haven't figured out where to hide it from the war dept. yet. Medical forced the second owner to part with it and the deal was too sweet to pass up. About five years ago I built a nice all roller aluminum head 351W for it and it has very few hours since the build. The car itself is an odd piece, listed as a "Special Sport" on the window sticker. It has everything a big block version should have, big rear axel, discs, braces not on the other Cougars, etc. I fell in love with it while I was building the engine for it. Now my extra funds are tapped out for a little while.

 

I can think of a good place.

He can keep the keys if he leaves it here! It won't move, I promise! (I have a solid track record to back that claim up, too). All I require is that the title be in my name. You know, for insurance purposes...

What year and engine in the Blueberry ? Ya never know what turns up in the yards around here so I'll ask around. You got any price quotes yet ? Need to know so I don't waste time on the clowns who think they have a gold mine.
As far as the Cougar, I moved a 66 Mustang drag car to a friend's shop so I have dry storage now. I just want to dust the new beast off and hit a few cruise-ins this summer with it. I don't think any of the locals even know it exists, it hasn't been shown or driven much since the engine was built.
