This is probably a dumb question but I'm gonna ask anyway. Are the screws and nutplates that install the headlight bezels common so that could get them at a hardware or auto parts store or are they specialty parts? The screw is about 2.5 inches and stainless, and the nutplate has a locking tab. Thanks in advance!
They are not so common that your local Part house would carry them. Ecklers... parent company of MAC's and Dearborn Classics, all sell the screw kits for this. I used Dearborn Classics catalog during my restoration... I believe I used either the Torino or Fairlane Kit for mine. I ended up with parts I didn't need. But I wasn't lacking for what I did need. From MACs... Exterior Screw kit: Fairlane 68-69, 42-74553, $52.99 or Fairlane/Ranchero/Torino/Comet Master Body hardware Kit: 69 Fairlane, 42-7913, $199.99 --- 69 Torino, 42-79134, $199.99 They have an on-line catalog... I prefer the paper copy.
You could always go straight to AMK. They are a supplier to most of the resellers https://www.amkproducts.com/shop/cart/ Master kits cover all screws , I kits cover the individual areas. Like PER said look fairlane/Torino.
