If both regulators need replacement, I would consider upgrading to power windows. New aftermarket motors and switches are readily available.
I should add that according to my Hollander that regulators from 69-70 Mercury Monterey 2 dr, and 70 Lincoln 2 dr. will work except for MK 111. Part numbers are DOAZ 6323208A and C9AZ63232008A Thanks Greg
$1800 for what? Once you have the regulators you're more than halfway there. New motors $30 each, switches $20 for both, another $20 for some 12 AWG, connectors and a 20A Type 1 circuit breaker. Total $100 plus the regulators. Fun weekend project.
The 1800.00 dollar regulators are made in the US and the quality looks as good as factory. I have since found china made one's for around $200.00. I would rather keep the car stock and not convert. I will be the second owner and it is a little rare being a 429 4 barrel with a marti report saying it is 1 of 1 if you put any value in these report's. I can convert the windows myself as I have done quit a few of them all brands in my shop over the year's. Would really like to find some manual one's. Greg
