    Looks like it be time to up the price we have been asking for Dad's orange Ranchero. I remember making the prediction around five years ago that Ranchero values would take a crazy jump and here it is. Also remember the hoots of derision back then too.

    Well, everyone wants a big discount, to show they're savvy buyers. In truth, not everything is worth what's paid for it, and only the rarified examples (like your dad's) is worth more than any 'going rate.'

    Remember, I've said it on here before, some have more money than common sense.

    Oh wow, the one I was watching showed a squire that went for $82,000....maybe it was still going when the announcers called it? Anyway, I was amazed at $82k, let alone $90k+

    Saw some big prices like the '69 Stang that went for with a 427 SOHC sold for $ 400k.
    Agree with Andy on the $$$.

    It's really hard to fathom the prices that cars bring at these auctions. I don't blame the owners for getting all they can but it sure is ruining the game for any one who just wants to buy a decent car as most can't afford them.
