72 NOS front valence

    Did FORD ever use red oxide primer? Looks like Rustolium to me.

    Good to know. All the NOS body parts I have bought (most recently a front grill for a 69 econoline) have had that thin blue/gray primer and repros have been black.

    the color is correct. I just found one in the trunk of a 72 in the junk yard. still has the papers of all the shipping, from Tenn. to the Atlanta plant, to a dealership. never been painted. Jerry
    the one on ebay looks different. looks like a flat part in the middle to mount the front license plate. it should be to a point from top to bottom. if you need more info, email me:
