Does anyone have one for sale? I bought one off evil bay and it was thicker than the original and hazard button was slightly off causing it not to push all the way down.

T/S switches are different on tilt and fixed (non-tilt) columns.

Correct, I bought the non tilt for my car and still had issues. My car was made in April and was wondering if it might be a 71 switch.

It's more likely that the item you purchased on eBay was misidentified, or maybe your steering column is not original equipment.

My 72 Ranchero Was built June of 71

It has a 1971 steering column in it..
    When's was your car built.,???

I went through that some issue....

Or like 78 GT stated wrong part...

It's possible you have a Tilt column switch...

???? Did ya get a Marti report on your Ranchero??
That will tell you building date

If the tags are still on the door or pillar the build month and year are on the one with the paint, axle and trans codes and other things. The entire column could have been switched After over 50 years who knows what work has been done. I'm sure the column was not out of a 1971 , that body was the unitized one not the body on frame type, Column is completely different. Early production might be different. haven't checked my Ford Master Parts books for signal switch part numbers..

Checked out the Ford Master parts and accessory books 65-72 & the 73-79. 1972 used D20z 13341 A updated D30z 13341 A Then updated D40Z 13341 A Then used D60Z 13341 A for tilt and D60Z 13341 B for fixed column for 73-79. This should leave you confused. So which switch the aftermarket copied is what you would get. Compare the original closely to see where there are differences . There are some Granada, Pinto and Mustang that use the same switch .
