Hi folks I have 2 barrel carb on my ranchero I'm thinking of fitting 4 barrel Holley carb 600cfm with electric fuel pump my question is can I use existing inlet manifold and will 4 barrel be a good choice and will it make much difference .... thanks in advance Paul...

I dunno how much a 4-to-2 adapter would gain for you. But there is another possibility; Holley makes a 4412 carb that delivers 500 cfm, and is a direct fit onto your existing manifold. Unless you have a specific need for the electrical pump, I'd recommend keeping the stock pump.

Personally, I'd get it running good with the 2-barrel on it, or like BB said, a Holley unit. Unless you plan on raising the compression, putting on headers, etc. adding a 4-bbl will get you minimal improvement for the cost and effort. A 1973 anything is a low-compression slug. Again, my opinion.
