 WOW! Seems like they should throw in the mirrors for that price. I guess if you need them you don't have much choice other that to wait and hope a better deal will come along.

The clown is advertising them as 'new', but if you read down to the bottom they are used and scavenged from Pick and Pull.
So obviously it 'doesn't have the original packaging'.
Also, it appears the comment indicating the used condition was added after the sale started.

This idiot needs to be flamed.

Seller ended auction.... the New condition could have been a mistake when he listed it sounds like he is fairly honest in his description

as far as starting price that is a lot less than the going rate of $75 to $100 a side..and the last set of dual remote 77/9 mirrors we sold brought $175

The description box said new but without original packaging.
I sent him a note asking about it.
If it was an honest mistake, pulling the ad was the right thing to do.

He responded to my note, saying he had pulled the ad.
Must have been an honest mistake.

I could be wrong, but I think most of them get broken easily because of the way they stick out from the front of the fenders like the tip of an arrow. Since there is not much demand for them, nobody reproduces them.

The platform's shared with a couple different Ford vehicles from that time, so that *really* speaks to how undesirable that look is.

On mine the lens came off of the assembly while driving, fell underneath my tire and crushed.
