Fresh out of my shop after a 1 year hiatus for paint and stripes and other fixes, my '78 GT took to the streets of Texas for the first time (first time not on a trailer, anyway) last night. Plan to take it to it's first car show Saturday night.

Nice looking ride. See that you used the correct magnum 500 wheels for the era. Very nice ride.

I found 'em on eBay. I was gonna get those Wheel Vintiques repops, but these were about 1/2 that cost, plus they are correct for the year as you point out. I also scored the correct horn button for my GT steering wheel (it had one with the Ford blue oval on it).

My Ranchero originally had wire wheel covers on it from the factory. Bleh!

Bought my magnums (early full chrome type) from Kentucky Mustang @ the Columbus ohio Swap. $575 for 15x7 (4) with a full set of lugs and center caps. Couldn't beat it with a stick.

71 Whitesale, love your handle. Not many of us left any more that know or remember what that is.

That's a good looking Ranchero. I've seen one like this somewhere. What's the inside and under the hood look like?

I always liked those 60's and 70's graphics.
